Default GMA500/Poulbo Netbook Owners

After getting MeeGo up on my Poulsbo based O2 Joggler (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnwfVtHuhoI) have prepared a kickstart file for Poulsbo/GMA500 based netbooks.

I don't have one of these netbooks, but if you are interested in Meego please build an image and report back. (user vgrade on #meego)

I want an O2 Joggler with MeeGo installed. That would be really nice.

I quickly tried the image on the Nokia Booklet, but was unable to get it up and running (fully). If I now remember correctly it complained about missing fb dev or something (I'm not too familiar with the X-stuff and a noob with the .ks stuff also). I'll try to find a time to test it again and read the logs..

to get X server up and running you need to do these steps

Ctrl + alt + F1
1.
login: meego
pass: meego
2.
su
pass: meego
3.
telinit 3
ctrl+alt+ F1
4.
vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf
press "i", then edit these lines
Code:
Section "Device"
...
Option "ALL/1/Port/4/General/Edid" "1" #this is for read edid data from display
...
EndSection

Section "Extensions"
...
  Option "Composite" "enable"
...
EndSection
then press ESC, and type :exit
5.
startx

and now we get ugly twm =)

// Joggler wiki also has instructions about start mutter, but it doesn't work for me. It starts, but screen not refreshing.

//And this kernel has been built without ext4 -_-

//and yes, sorry for my english..

good work guys, I'm not able to test this as I don't have GMA500 based netbook only the Joggler.

After the edit to XClient to call mutter do you see the background, an xerm and a clock?

If so what happens when you close the xtrm and clock.
