Default Accessing the music player database

I'm working on a project where I would like to modify contents of the Music player's database.

I have zero experience with MeeGo (but tons of experience with pretty much every other mobile platform) so I don't know where to start here.

I assume the music player uses SQLite to store meta data. If this is true, is the SQLite file accessible to other apps to read and write?

If this is not the case, are there APIs to do what I want?

Sebastian

Metadata for music (and all other files) are stored in
databases for tracker. Use the tracker api or Qt's
QDocumentGallery api.
