I haven't had time to seriously play the game, but seems finger is enough precise to make game fun.

Do you have aegis enabled? I got bored with reflashing device without reason, and I have aegis disabled all the time. Could it cause crashing to you?
Do you have directory: /home/user/.numptyphysics ?
It is first created when game starts. Is game creating it to you? Is there difference if you create it manually?

I do not know what invoker is doing. First print from game should be "loaded image /opt/numptyphysics/paper.jpg". If/when game prints that "STATS..." on the start, it means no game data have loaded (STATS is printed when level is passed).
First case: can't write.
Second case: can't read (or tries read from wrong place).
Are these about aegis and should I add credentials to the game?
