I used android sometime ago (nitdroid acutally) on my N900 and i'm in love with the Car Home application available in android.
Here's the question, is there a Car Home or similar application in N9(50)? If not, i propose to make one myself.
Here's the brief idea of my ideal Car Home application for N9(50)

• grid of basic application launcher like maps, compass and etc
• build in music player with 3 big button (play/pause, next, previous) for easy music playing while driving
• 9 preset contact for quick calling (just like the quick call using number 1-9 in most phone available)
• settings like adjusting volume, brightness and etc
