nVidia has now released video drivers enabling MeeGo Hardware acceleration on Tegra2 tablets.

Heres a post with the Info. Lots of People including Vgrade have been waiting for ages for this to happen and I've personally been wanting the Tegra2 playground for us as well.

Seems like a dream come true :-)

This should also be good news for other non-proprietary (google) linux distributuons?

Of cause, but Meego Linux is the "best" linux distribution for targetting Tablets and embedded systems

Great news! So will these drivers be freely available somewhere? The article mentions that they have restricted access now.

This is going to be interesting to watch, there is work on a native port of ubuntu to the asus transformer.

this changes the idea of the nvidia battle ground as meego and others (limo, etc) can try to get more devices to 'play' on
