Default A Samsung MeeGo netbook !

Samsung launches new Super-Light N100 Netbook (in India)

Usability is at the heart of the N100’s design. The device includes Intel’s innovative MeeGo™ operating system, to deliver an efficient and enjoyable user experience. The interface has been designed to enable easy access to online and offline contents, while social networks can be viewed at a glance – meaning that it’s easier to stay connected. Good news
Even if Samsung is known for trying many OSes before choosing (like Symbian, Android, WinMo 6, WinPho7 etc, this is good that Sammy have interests in Meego

I guess they've realized that Chrome OS is not a good solution for 99% of the world's population

Maybe we'll see some MeeGo phones too !

I doubt they'd push for MeeGo instead of Bada for their line of smartphones... but anything can happen in a very short span of time.

Meego and Bada do not represent the same product lineup.
Meego is more high end than Bada. Bada is a kind of super feature phone, while Meego is a kind of mobile computer.

¿Are you sure? The first device Samsung launched with Bada onboard matched quite closely what was present on the first Galaxy S. That was Samsung top line. Right now Samsung offer five handsets with Bada, and by their specs, they seem quite high-end to me.

Well maybe the hardware quality is high end (because every smartphone today needs a poket nuclear plant power and quantic processor), but the OS is really a sort a big feature phone soft (a little bit like symbian, but with touch facilities)

I'd guess that Samsung just likes experimenting with different systems. If MeeGo works out well for them, we could see more of it on their devices, if not, that probably was it.
