Default I am going to betray Nokia...

I will buy Windows Phone 7 tommorow when it comes out...

Sorry Nokia, I gave you one year... there hasn't been said anything about MeeGo from Nokia this and last month and Intel said that MeeGo will be "complete" in 2011 (bawww).

But maybe next year, you might show something awesome.

Farewell Nokia/Intel and MeeGo, but WP7 is calling me.

Farewell. Certainly, if jumping over to WP7 is that easy a choice for you then I doubt you were long for MeeGo anyway.

Not that Nokia has said anything about MeeGo on devices, they've stated pretty directly that the next device from them would be a Maemo backend with MeeGo compatibility. As for Intel, they've got their own perspective on things and are waiting for 1.2 before saying anything.

But enjoy your Windows-themed iPhone

i wont be biased. the windows Phone looks awesome. if I was working in an office environment, the mobile office alone is good enuff to make me buy it. the interface is very fast and clean. I also have a strong feeling they will do good in the mobile games department. If it suits your needs go for it.

WP7 is an immature platform from developers' perspective. No NDK so far.

Very questionable. Many games are performance hungry. While there is no NDK - writing such games (or porting existing ones) would not be possible.

What is so very important about this move to actually create dedicated post in the MeeGo forum?
And, yes, WinPho7: no tethering, no multitasking, IE7. See ya! Don't let the door hit you on the way out!

Just to keep things informed and updated -=)
W7 can support tethering it will be up the the carriers if they will want it turned on or off. Multitasking works a bit different then Maemo 3rd party apps get suspended in the background for better performance and battery life not cause the OS is limited. IE7 - not much to say there.

Here is another option for you. Why don't you tray Samsung GalaxyS. It is the best smartphone which will fulfill all your requirements.

Nokia used to have a poor reputation for hardware (much laughter at Telecom exhibitions in Geneva in the 70s and 80s) - have they improved?

Right now, it seems that you will be able to buy a Windows Phone 7 from Nokia soon...

Maybe you "betrayed" Nokia a few weeks ago, but it seems that Nokia has betrayed Symbian, MeeGo and QT today.
