N9 The browser native mode I load gmail mobile, I have tried in various ways, for example; https://mail.google.com/mail/x/z2mob...i=1&f=1&shva=1
No matter how you always write to that address routes .
The only way is to opera mobile.
You can do to make your app initially charged in desktop mode , much to consider my request and is most useful to me, just as I congratulate you, how to handle the zoom is magnificent.
I realized that in desktop mode, click the icon to give G++ and then the Inbox icon, how do mobile load.

I tried the "desktop" version and have to say that didn't like it but I can see how it is faster since it uses the "old html version".

It is part of my plan to have a way to define the home page and/or add favorites. I can't promise it will happen any time soon since I am still working on some other projects but...

With the new version it will be much less of an issue as you can leave it running all the time... it does use your internet connection unless you tell to refresh it and it saves you several seconds of startup... the battery consumption is not too bad either.

Both issues were resolved! I have submitted it to the Ovi store (but they just told me that they are upgrading the harmattan infrastructure so it could be delayed for up to two weeks!!!! unbelievable!!!!)

It is a really smooth and fast, very functional app. However, I still cannot enter a new task in the Google Tasks list, because the VKB does not appear if I tap on "+New Task".

Am I the only one with that problem? (Or the only one trying to use the Google task list with this app)?

I don't use the tasks but I notice the issue. I tried a few different ways to handle the virtual keyboard but couldn't fix the issue. I will keep trying ...
