questions:
- so there is no other chance to use other firmware than 30.2012.07-1.339.03.1_PR_339? I mean the same version (2012-01.1) but for different countries/products, other than my product device (059L7S4/sweden - for which the latest firmware I found is HARMATTAN_20.2011.40-4.339.2_PR_LEGACY_339 but this gave me that downgraded error..). I tried some 2012.07 firmware but they didn't worked for me (downgrade error - that's strange since 2012.07 it's also the version from my device)
- should be possible to reset/flash my phone with the same version (1.2) or it will be possible only using a higher version
- I saw I was able to use EMMC bin file but this didn't helped. Is it bad I used/run the flasher using this file, and also with the option "-erase-mmc"? I mention I don't care if I will loose some personal data from my phone (contacts, messages, pers images, installed games..).I just want my device running again
- after I did what I did, now my device only shows Nokia logo and after a while is restarting...

As you are trying the B.ssu to A.bin -> FAIL, you can only use same or higher timestamp version. You can wait for B.bin and hope that timestamps match.

Reflashing emmc will not help you, your only options are mentioned in answer #210.

Problem solved. Today they provided new version for my product code and I was able to use it and make my phone running again. Thanks a lot!

my orginal product code is 059L6B8 n9 16g black....and my orginal firmware is

this phone before me flashed with wrong product code ang again i flash with orginal firmware but
the screen is black And makes only a single vibration and Small light spot on the lower left corner is turned on again...... Everything is off again

and i download :

DFL61_HARMATTAN_30.2012.07-1.523.2_PR_LEGACY_523_ARM_RM-696_PRD_signed.bin abd flash with this version here log

I can add to the mix my info - no problems here just info - I have Australian non branded black made in China bought in US - initially I had 005 firmware but because Australian number never shows up after the initial one I went with basic - just now I found I have 001 with PR1.2 so go and figure how it works but I'm glad it does. Also never received OTA ever before 1.2, just after 1.2 firmware software updates starting to come in OTA.

Please can someone tell me if this Australian product (059L689) has gotten it's firmware update via NSU because i still hasn't gotten the notification on my phone. Does it mean that it'll be available via Nokia Software Updater?

Not sure if it has come via NSU, though it should have. AFAIK, all the codes are now out (unless carrier hasn't approved them). Use the Navifirm tool to check

I just bought a nokia n9 and it was the Chinese version variant 003. So I decided to flash it to a generic fw. I am fairly new to this so I was looking at many tutorials before i found this thread. Anyway it flashed just the cmt didn't complete (but I know know how to fix that) and I got all the western apps like Facebook, youtube etc. Then i tried to go into the ovi store bought it wasn't responding so I did a restore/clean and when it rebooted it never got past the spinning circle on the boot screen.

Know i tried to re flash it using the standard methods winfflash etc, tried use nokias updater, tried many different fw because the original isn't working now. Now because it successfully updated to pr1.2 before it got stuck at the boot screen every time I try to flash it it gives me the You cant downgrade error.

Can anyone please help me!!!!!!!!!! or send me to the right links etc. I will give any logs/screen shots that you need.

Hello i'm new in this forum well i dont know what else i have to do to fix my n9 i don't know ive tried reflashing a lot of times my problem is that when i try to boot my phone a message appears saying that ive lost my garanty and when i try to flash the n9 with the same version that i have previusly on the phone the same error appears:

please i dont know what to do i've tried a lot of thing and in the technical service they told me that i have lost the warranty with nokia please i need help!
