Default Porting Applications from Fremantle to Harmattan (N9/N950)

I opened this thread to have some place to discuss porting applications from Fremantle to Harmattan (N9/N950) and share experiences and (hopefully) "best practices".

I already added some of the steps etc. I did to port one of my applications from Fremantle to Harmattan to the Wiki: http://wiki.meego.com/Porting_Freman...s_to_Harmattan
I also added this page to the N950 landing page.
This is still quite a "work in porgress" but I hope some will find this helpful.

Feedback, comments, suggestions are always highly appreciated.

Hi, I already ported^W rebuilt some apps from debian or fremantle, ping me if you know more that can be supported (no gtk) that worth to be tested ...

At the same time , Is there a documentation that must be read about cooperative maintenance or merging packages into a community repo, or is it too soon ? isnt MeeGo:1.2:Harmattan:Apps:Testing purpose ?

I agree about it with rzr.

That repository would be nice, if X-Fade can add us to that. For instance, I packaged the whole kdelibs with all its dependencies which has been 1 week hard work for me. It would be nice if we can cooperate as efficiently back as possible in this community.

Hence I also propose a central and shared repository like that. What is the procedure of asking access from X-Fade, if that is the way.

Otherwise, we can also create some, if that is just for some other purposes. I am not sure how this organization happened in case of the rpm meego packages, but I think that is not an efficient cooperation, if everybody packages only into his own project without sharing it in a shared repository.

From the point of view of the community repository users, it would also be easier to add one repository to the /etc/apt/sources.list file.
