The netbook version with the GUI should be available in a couple of weeks. Here's some info from the latest TSG meeting minutes with more about the releases: http://trac.tspre.org/meetbot/meego-...-05-18.58.html

We always love help with testing and filing bugs for anything that doesn't work

The Samsung NC10 has always worked very well with moblin. That's what I would recommend.

I'd go for an EeePC 1008HA: it's what most of the MeeGo netbook user interface team have

In case someone here wants to update the list of netbooks that work with MeeGo, I'm now typing this from my Samsung N140 + MeeGo Chromium. Seems to work great although BT pairing with my N900 failed for some reason.

I added the NC10 to the compatible netbook-list and removed it from nettop-list. As far as I know it's a netbook and not a nettop .

Meego seems to work fine on the NC10 though I just tested the live-image. Can't adjust the brightness level on the live image though, and I can't turn off wifi either. Since it's a live image I'm guessing this is to be expected, but do these things work after install?

I remember Ubuntu behaving the same way on the live image, and I still couldn't turn off wifi or adjust brightness after full install. Has anyone tested to install meego on the NC10 yet? Would be glad to know what works and what doesn't after installing.

My Toshiba NB205 seems to work flawlessly so far. I've been very impressed. I also added it to the Wiki,

I've tried running MeeGo V1.0 from a USB pen in Live mode on my HP 2133 which I believe has an Atom Intel Processor, but it fails like a blind person playing spot the difference!

Any ideas? or isn't the HP 2133 compatible with MGV1?

I believe the HP 2133 has a VIA C7 CPU.
