As an unrelated thought, many have emailed me thinking that I had the intention of participating in the cat and mouse game I described in the first post. I have never wanted to do that, actually, what I mentioned in my first post was that if a sanctioned method for open mode did not appear and I was forced to "make another turn", I'd stop using Harmattan altogether.

The official open mode has seemingly appeared, so happy times ahead. Let's explore what's gained and what's lost. (Warranty, for a start :P, but fortunately, not much in terms of application functionality).


And of course, thanks to everyone involved!
